Digital Lawyer DiaryOne platform for entire legal workflow of Pakistan
Digital Lawyer Diary is a Legal-Tech platform built for advocates and law firms across Pakistan’s High Court and District Court system. CodePlay designed, developed, and deployed the full product, from architecture to production, and continues to maintain it as a live SaaS application serving legal professionals nationwide.

Pakistan’s legal sector was running on paper. We changed that.

Advocates and law firms were tracking cases, hearings, billing, and client data through paper diaries and scattered files. Missed hearing dates, no visibility between teammates, weak compliance trails for partners overseeing juniors, and unsafe storage of sensitive legal data were the standard.
Digital Lawyer Diary set out to solve every one of those problems in a single secure platform. CodePlay built it end to end.
One secure platform for every part of legal practice
Case management and hearing intelligence
We built a complete case history system with automated hearing-date reminders and cause-list alerts. Legal teams get real-time visibility into every active matter, every upcoming date, and every status change across the firm, without checking a diary or calling a colleague.
Multi-user law firm management
We designed a role-based access system that structures how partners, associates, and juniors interact with the platform. Partners have oversight across their team's work. Juniors operate within their scope. Every action is logged, every task is visible, and accountability is built into the workflow by default.
Matter management with Kanban and milestones
Complex legal matters involve many moving parts across long timelines. We built a full project management layer with Kanban boards, custom stages, and milestones so legal teams can manage intricate cases with the same discipline as any structured project, without leaving the platform.
Billing, invoicing, and payment tracking
We built an invoicing and billing module with PDF generation and payment tracking so firms can manage the financial side of client relationships without a separate tool. Every invoice is linked to its matter, every payment is tracked, and outstanding balances are visible from the dashboard.
Security infrastructure built for sensitive legal data
Client and case data is among the most sensitive a firm holds. We built bank-grade encryption, role-based access control, daily automated backups, and audit-ready logging into the platform from the ground up. Compliance is not an add-on. It is how the platform was architected.
A live SaaS product built for a sector that had never had one before.
Digital Lawyer Diary launched as the first platform of its kind built specifically for Pakistan’s legal profession. The product is live, actively maintained, and in use by legal professionals managing real cases across both web and Android. CodePlay owns the full delivery and continues as the product’s development and maintenance partner.
